St George Illawarra star Benji Marshall has set his sights on hitting 250 and 300 NRL game milestones, but concedes there's a good chance it might not be in Wollongong.

The 31-year-old admitted a persistent hamstring injury has stalled talks on where he'll be playing his rugby league once his contract expires at the end of the season, but is adamant he will remain in the NRL.

"I'd love to stay here and I want to stay here, but I'm also a realist and understand that there's a good chance that might not happen," Marshall said.
