What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, that's what Trent Robinson thinks. Maybe he should jump into bed with Mary, metaphorically speaking.

On current Dragons Roosters form, the Anzac Day clash is going to be a cracker. Anyway, I digress ...

The whinging about not the right players, haven't got the strike power, no points in the team, Benji's past his brilliance, all add fuel to the Dragons fire. It's fair stay there's more flicker than a flame at the moment but Imagine walking in the boots of the current team that is camped in QLD. They're busting their guts to win.

It is what it is and some points are valid and I am no less nervous as we look towards tonight's clash.

But If nothing else, character-building matches such as tonight's are money in the bank as the season progresses. No one likes to lose. If it's killing the supporters, think how the players must feel.

So the Footy Show has sunk us with damming statistics, other NRL sides claim we've "got nothing" in attack and if you believe the media, off contract players are queuing up to join the side next year. Love the controversy. And the more coverage the better, cos that's my team.

Some might whistle Dixie at any thought of a Dragons' upset tonight. But I'd prefer to singalong with Willie Nelson.

Listen to the lyrics. No it's not an ageing Mitch Rein with the long locks but a wee Willie strumming about "the best of friends" and a "band of gypsy" Nightingales on the highway of life.

Or if you'd prefer to whistle Dixie, follow this loser ...

There's so much To look forward to tonight: Duges v Darius, Benj out to prove the naysayers wrong and the hopeful performance of a team that is well and truly up against it.

Guru coach Wayne Bennett is sounding cautionary. With red and white still coursing through his veins, would you expect anything less from THE coach..

Plus, the team's record at Suncorp ain't too shabby, so all is not lost, yet!

I'll leave you with this: There is always someone in a worse position than you, like my GP. He's a manic Roosters supporter. I saw him yesterday. Poor bugger wasn't in a good frame of mind. I'm the one who should have counselled him.

2 from five still reads a lot better than ZIP, ZERO and a BIG FAT DATE!
